Prof. Toshio Fukuda (Nagoya University)

Short Biography:
Dr. Toshio Fukuda graduated from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan in 1971 and received the Master of Engineering degree and the Doctor of Engineering degree both from the University of Tokyo, in 1973 and 1977, respectively. He is Professor of Dept. of Micro System Engineering and Dept. of Mechano-Informatics and Systems, Nagoya University, Japan. He is mainly engaging in the research fields of intelligent robotic system, self-organizing system, micro robotics, robotic system under hostile environment, bio-robotic system, neuromorphic intelligent control, fuzzy control, control of mechanical systems and technical diagnosis. Currently, he is the Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE/ASME Transactions on Mechatronics (2000-2002), Journal of Micromechatronics (2000- ), Journal of Advanced Computational Intelligence (JACI) and IEEE Nanotechnology Council President (2002-).

Prof. Kaoru Hirota (Tokyo Institute of Technology)

Short Biography:
Dr. Kaoru Hirota  received the B.E., M.E., and Dr. E. degrees in electronics from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Tokyo, Japan, in 1974, 1976, and 1979, respectively. Since 1995, he has been with the Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Science and Engineering, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Yokohama, Japan. He has experienced (twice) a department head professor of Department of Computational Intelligence and Systems Science. His research interests include fuzzy systems, intelligent robot, image understanding, expert systems, hardware implementation and multimedia intelligent communication. Dr. Hirota is a member of IFSA (International Fuzzy Systems Association (Vice President 1991-1993, Treasurer 1997-2001 secretary 2003-2005, Fellow awarded in 2003)), IEEE (Associate Editors of IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems 1993-1995 and IEEE Transactions on Industrial Electronics 1996-2000, IEEE CIS Distinguished Lecturer) and SOFT (Japan Society for Fuzzy Theory and Systems (Vice President 1995-1997, President 2001-2003)), and he is an editor in chief of Int. J. of Advanced Computational Intelligence and Intelligent Informatics.

Paper Submission

Authors are invited to submit extended abstract that consists of 500 - 1000 words. Extended abstract should be written in Indonesian or English on A4 paper, Times New Roman 12, single space and  2,5 cm margin on all of sides. The Extended abstract must and only include the following information: title, name(s) and affiliation(s) of the author(s), postal address(s), Phone/Fax number(s), and e-mail address(s). The extended abstract should be in Microsoft Word format (*.doc) and send via e-mail. The size of extend abstract does not exceed 200 Kb. Click here to download template

Send the extanded abstract as well as the full paper to snikti07@cs.ui.edu according to the schedules and the important dates.

Accepted papers will be notified by e-mail or phone. Please refer to full paper template for submission of  maximum 6 pages of full paper in format of Microsoft Word with the size of file does not exceed 500 KB (please compressed it before send it). Only accepted papers will be presented in the conference. The author has to attend the conference to present his/her paper.

Proceedings

Each accepted paper will be published on Conference Proceedings. The selected paper will be published on Jurnal Ilmu Komputer dan Teknologi Informasi (JIKTI), ISSN 1411-9854 that published by ICIS.
